Vision
Founded in 2002, Foundation For the Challenged is a nonprofit section 501(c)(3)
organization that envisions people with Mental Retardation and Developmental
Disabilities (MR/DD) having a role in their communities and society as family
members, friends and neighbors. A vision measurably applied through mission
driven initiatives.
Mission
To help people with mental retardation and developmental disabilities
experience more satisfying and productive lives in their communities
by providing them with charitable support grants and community-based
housing.
Operating Philosophy
Strengthen our capacity to remain steadfast to charitable purpose
and exemplify practical forms of “goodwill towards men.”
